If you had IE minimized and a new email came in...you would get a popup in the bottom right. With OWA 2007 there isn't a popup unless you are looking at your email window...

Ideas?

Hi,

You know, I think you are right, from my testing you simply get a sound at all times and then a pop up only if IE is open.

I guess this is one of the benefits of the OWA re-write ;)

I wonder if anyone else has found a way round this?

Hi Nathan,

I'm wondering what you mean by "OWA re-write"?

And in my tests, I only get the sound even when IE is open. When I check my options, "Display a notification when new e-mail items arrive" is checked, so maybe I just missed it.
