    Small business server-exchange 2003 store limit issue

    Hi all
    I get this error(see below) , the store sometime unmounts , what should I do to solve this issue.Any help on this will be really  appreciated.

    The Exchange store 'First Storage Group\Mailbox Store (SERVER)' is limited to 75 GB. The current physical size of this database (the .edb file and the .stm file) is 21 GB. If the physical size of this database minus its logical free space exceeds the limit of 75 GB, the database will be dismounted on a regular basis.

    Hi,

    I would guess (correct me if I am wrong) that you are using Exchange 2003 Sp2 Standard edition. I believe you have added the relevant registry entries to limit the size of your DB to 75GB.

    This event is simply letting you know that you have put the limit in place and that should the size of the DB become the same as that of the limit, then the DB will dismount.

    As such, this is not an error just a warning. It also lets you know that the current size is 21GB, so nothing to worry about yet a while.
